Better-for-you bakery

ABOUT US

Who is Cara Linn?

Hey I'm Cara!  I have always adored sweets, but not always the way traditional ones made me feel.  Processed sugar and artificial ingredients can leave you miserable! That's why at my bakery, you will only get sweets made with the most natural ingredients possible, like organic cane sugar and unbleached flour. The result is a more well-rounded flavor that's not too sweet. So many of our customers tell us they taste AND feel the difference!  Thank you for being here; it's my joy and privilege to share my sweets with you. Keep scrolling below to hear more of my story:

OUR STORY

Born & Raised in Amarillo

Cara Linn grew up in Amarillo starting Kindergarten at Olsen Park Elementary! She graduated from Panhandle High School and continued on to Chef John Folse Culinary Institute at Nicholls State University in 2003.

Learned From The Best

She later landed an internship in New York City with renowned Cake Designer Elisa Strauss. From there, she worked in several restaurants and bakeries in New York City until eventually starting her own business in Brooklyn, where she made wedding cakes and hosted cake decorating classes.

Back To The Roots

As her family grew, Cara chose to make Amarillo her hometown again where she now happily lives with her 3 children. She loves being back where it all started, and bringing her expertise and passion to the community that helped mold her into who she is today.
